WE GOT HIM! It only took 22 hours to get this criminal into custody! Thanks to our team working hard through endless camera footage, along with a trucking company out of Illinois cooperating to track his semi-truck in Arkansas, and the hard work of Sheriff Roye Cole & his officers, they were able to recover all stolen items!

No, we haven't received anything back ourselves & have no idea when/if we will as it is now evidence, but we are still thrilled to have him off the streets!

A bold thief stole a gun & more from Mountainside Outfitters this past Saturday during a Free Festival.

Obviously, anyone that is willing to clearly show their face on dozens of cameras while stealing a gun, ammo & body armor is an especially scary kind of person who may have a plan that he doesn’t intend to walk away from or get locked up for.

Which is why it is so important that we share this info far & wide so we can get this criminal locked up before he can hurt anyone.

We forgot about a porch camera over at the house, we just checked it & confirmed that he is a Semi Truck Driver for a trucking company out of Illinois.

He parked his truck out on Route 60 the whole time and he used the festival to sneak through a camera blind spot to enter & leave on foot over the hill from the highway, Route 60.

At 11:30am on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, the thief entered from the outdoor festival, into Mountainside Outfitters’ building.

The thief used the large crowds that were attending the Free Festival at Mountainside Outfitters as a cover to blend in & case the store for nearly three hours before making his move.

He eerily tried on & looked through all body armor options before ultimately choosing a small sling backpack with a built in Level 3A Bulletproof Body Armor plate.

The small sling backpack was designed to easily spin around from the back to the chest so the Level 3A Bulletproof Body Armor plate can protect vital organs.

He collected 125-rounds of ammo & 4) custom lasered 30-round ammo magazines in his basket before going for the gun.

It's worth noting the hilarious point that he mixed .300 Blackout & 5.56 when he was stealing the ammo & gun, so the only person that was ever in danger was the thief if he ever tried to shoot it.

We’ll be increasing the strength of the tether cables used to secure these unique, folding guns going forward because once he got the FoldAR AR-15 free from its display, he used the FoldAR’s best feature against us, and was able to use its double hinged system to fold the FoldAR AR-15 into thirds, small enough to fit into an ammo can, or in this case, the tiny backpack he picked out that also holds the body armor, also stolen from our store.

After he removed the FoldAR AR-15 from its display, and casually put it in his basket, he then carried it to the opposite corner of the store where he can be seen on video boldly loading the stolen FoldAR AR-15 into the stolen backpack, that already had the Body Armor Plate in it, along with the 125-rounds of (the incorrect caliber) stolen ammo, right in front of several people.

He was not able to quickly fit all the stolen 30-round magazines in the tiny body armor backpack, so he wrapped a stolen print magazine around some of the ammo magazines, and walked back out the door he came in.

Unfortunately, gun laws don't stop criminals. This guy didn't care how many felonies he committed, so more laws can't stop him.

The only thing that is going to stop this guy will be finding him, with your help, prosecuting him, and locking him up away from the public. That's the only way to stop someone that is willing to break any laws.

We had tethers cut & guns stolen before at a gun show & it was social media shares combined with our local news stations that got us the leads that we needed to recover those guns & to get that criminal arrested.

We are counting on you all again so we can bring this criminal to justice too.

We've already received many tips from locals that have encountered him in many local stores & took notice of his off-putting & unsettling demeanor.

We also got a tip about an extremely disturbing story about him on a back road with a different gun, under very unusual circumstances. We are going to follow up on that lead before we reveal too much info about it.
